    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for efficient and reliable operation of the company’s servers, network and related equipment. Will provide leadership in the planning, design, implementation, support and maintenance of technology systems. Manage the daily activities of configuration and administration of systems which may be on-premises and/or Cloud based infrastructure.

    • Responsible for maintaining the operations, ongoing and new IT Initiatives and upgrades, evaluation of new software, and engineering support for all production, staging, development, and disaster recovery environments.
    • Manage and maintain configuration baseline of Server and Workstations O/S, software applications.
    • Utilize Microsoft native and 3rd party monitoring tools such as N Central, Auvik, and Active Directory to assess and interpret requirements of systems and applications in relation to hardware, software and operational needs.
    • Deploy efficient administrative processes through automation (leveraging PowerShell, Power CLI, and batch jobs to automate manual and repetitive processes) and recommend system improvements as applicable.
    • Provide advanced level support and administration of all components of the Microsoft Windows O/S, Office 365 and Azure cloud environments.
    • Researches, identifies, and analyzes trends of utilization and errors to improve availability and performance
    • Prepares, distributes, and deploys critical, security, and otherwise required patches of all managed libraries using tools such as Windows Server Update Services and N-Central.
    • Work with Support Desk team to ensure adherence to incident and problem management processes for proper escalation and notification on all issues.
    • Provide updates to management and non-technical teammates in order to build consensus, inform on progress, and explain the impact of technology systems.
    • Strive to continuously improve standard operating procedures and monitoring activities to influence the delivery of high-quality services and technology solutions.
    • Identify and classify problems and their root causes and provide timely resolution to prevent recurring incidents.
    • Coordinate activities with external solution providers, including but not limited to managed hosting vendors, Internet service providers, cloud platform providers, and other vendor contractors.
    • Support Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity planning, and testing.
    • Coordinate outages with multiple IT and Business teams within adherence to the change management process.
    • Perform cloud administrative and IT operational tasks.
    • Communicates with leadership on status of projects.
    • Provide after hours and weekend support to address server hardware and software issues.


    • Must have a BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
    • 7+ years in a system engineer or administrator role working with Microsoft Windows, Azure, AWS, VMware, Servers, Network and Data Storage/Backup
    • Experience with Microsoft Server Administration including of Active Directory and Group Policy
    • Advanced experience using Microsoft Windows Server, Office 365 and Azure technologies.
    • Experienced in Microsoft Azure/Office 365/Windows Server 2016/Microsoft IIS, SQL Server/Microsoft Intune MDM / EMM
    • Good knowledge and understanding of Datto, Veeam, SharePoint Online.
    • Experience with Network Access Control Solutions like 802.1x, RADIUS, DNS, DHCP.
    • Experience with SAN’s and Shared Storage.
    • Experience with Physical & Virtual Server Infrastructure
    • Solid understanding of networking, VLANs, VPNs, routing, latency, QoS, etc.
    • Certifications: ITILv3, MSCE, MCSA or equivalent certifications or experience
    • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Ability to define day-to-day support, maintenance, troubleshooting knowledgebase of the network infrastructure.
    • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
    • Excellent problem solving and analytic skills to isolate problems, recommend solutions and implementation of solutions.
    • Excellent people skills with ability to handle difficult personnel situations.
    • Excellent computer skills necessary in Word, Excel, Presentation, Project and Visio
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
