    ARCO/Murray is eager to expand our in-house engineering capabilities with a VDC Specialist opportunity. This is a very unique opportunity to help integrate the design practice directly into a construction environment. The VDC Specialist will benefit from having dozens of construction professionals in office with the ability to provide real-time feedback on the cost effectiveness and constructability of their designs. The VDC Specialist will also be highly engaged in long term strategic corporate initiatives related to marketplace differentiation, product offerings, and specializations.

    • Configure project site(s) to host BIM data and support project setup for 3D trade coordination, site logistical planning, and 4D sequencing efforts
    • Proficiency in BIM Modeling and Coordination.
    • Participate and provide technical support for the project team in model-based design coordination meetings and review the trade partner deliverables.
    • Support training in various software packages (i.e.: Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, etc.)
    • Assist Project Managers in developing project specific VDC strategies, scope and planning in addition to standard processes.
    • Facilitate and advance company procurement initiatives including the timely development and approval of shop / fabrication level models for the coordination process.


    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • 0-5 years of VDC and BIM modeling experience in the AEC industry.
    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred
    • Proficiency in Revit, BIMTrack, NavisWorks, and other programs. 
    • VR/AR knowledge is a plus.
