    The Marketing Administrative Intern will provide support for our marketing and sales department through preparation of proposal books, presentations, coordination of events, coordination of marketing materials, and other marketing and administrative tasks.  Candidates must be detail oriented, have exceptional writing skills, and be capable of independently organizing and prioritizing work.  This internship is a paid opportunity at ARCO Design/ Build, Inc.

    A DAY IN THE LIFE

    Social Media

    • Coordinate content calendar and postings for social media channels through Pardot

     

    Content Upkeep:

    • Add new project pictures and information to website
    • Update recent project information on collateral
    • Develop collateral for internal communications, sales support, training, recruiting, tradeshows and company events

     

    Job Support:

    • Place signage orders and invoice processing
    • Coordinate groundbreaking and client events
    • Research and hire vendors for final photography and videography

     

    Business Development Support

    • Plan, develop and produce proposals, qualifications, and presentation packets
    • Manage client gifts and ARCO Boxes including packing and shipping
    • Manage existing inventory of promotional items for tradeshows and recruitment as well as orders for new items

     

    Office administration:

    • Process invoices for promotional item orders
    • Business card orders
    • Reconcile credit card receipts each month
    • Proofread and review content for collateral
    • UPS shipments
    • Pull reports for web analytics, organize project data, and conduct vendor or product searches
    • Support our online Gear Store processes including setting up new users, ordering items, processing invoices

    NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must be a current student (sophomore or above) or recent graduate in an accredited 4-year degree program.
    • Major: Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business Administration, Public Relations, Advertising
    • GPA: 3.0 or higher
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
    • Exceptional communication, writing, and editing skills
    • Self-starter and team player who works well in a support role
    • Thrive in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment
    • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite considered a plus
    • HTML and Salesforce experience considered a plus
