In this role, you will help ARCO achieve strategic goals in the areas of onboarding, training, development, engagement, retention, and performance management.

    • Assist with management of onboarding programs to ensure new hire associates acclimate to the business and begin adding value as soon as possible
    • Support annual administration of engagement survey process to ensure higher productivity and retention of associates (analysis, focus groups, action planning support)
    • Prioritize the ongoing process of communication between ARCO and associates to support a high performance culture and achievement of ARCO’s strategic objectives (annual review process, associate check ins, performance coaching)
    • Maximize relationship between associates and ARCO through associate relations (birthday & anniversary celebrations, stay interviews, legal compliance, HR inquiries)
    • Align ARCO’s mission and Core Values through management of cultural engagement events that enhance sense of inclusion, community, and increased performance (event coordination such as: book clubs, happy hours, boat day, Braves day, etc.)
    • Assist with research and implementation of leadership development programs that improve the skills, abilities and confidence of leaders
    • Owns robust Co-op / Intern program to develop future pipeline of talent to meet staffing needs (orientation, welcome event, volunteerism event, monthly roundtables, etc.)
    • Management of E-Verify process for Concrete division
    • Supports learning and development programs that ensure ARCO’s human capital meets and exceeds business objectives as soon as possible (training coordination, tracking, maintenance, creation, etc.)
    • Assists HRBP with special projects as needed


    • Bachelor's Degree required; Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business, Communication or related field preferred
    • 2-4 years of relevant experience in HR preferred
    • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while successfully meeting established goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • High level of attention to detail, quality, and effective verbal and written communication skills along with excellent follow-through
    • Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values and associates, and maintains constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations
    • Excellent computer skills; Must be proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Ability to speak Spanish considered a plus
    • Is positive, upbeat, and has fun
