    The Business Technology Leader will be a member of ARCO’s Technology Leadership team and is responsible for guiding the definition and delivery of all aspects of technology services for our ARCO Design Build family of companies. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of related IT experience with a minimum of 3 years supervisory capacity.

    Responsibilities

    • Strategic and tactical leadership of technology for a significant national business unit within our $1.5B ARCO enterprise
    • Partner with Business leaders and Shared service technology teams in identification, development and delivery of solutions and products
    • Gather and document business requirements via proactive communication and collaboration with partners, clients, industry and internal experts
    • As needed, develop functional and non-functional requirements, (flow charts, process descriptions, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria and data specifications)
    • Collaborate with internal and external teams to structure, develop and rollout solutions.
    • Financial planning and management of technology budgets

    Qualifications

    • The minimum education required is a degree from a 4-year college with a focus on business and computers
    • This position requires 3 to 5 years of non-supervisory technical experience in business analysis, system implementation, project management and at least 3 years of supervisory experience
    • A construction industry background is preferred
    • Background should include Project Management & Business Analysis
    • Entrepreneurial style with a sense of urgency, while ensuring a disciplined / structured approach
    • Strong business acumen required
    • Applications background – developed and purchased
    • Cloud system’s implementation experience
    • Located in our newly renovated Atlanta office, with 25% travel to other locations in US
    • Confident communicator and comfortable presenting to shareholders
    • The ability to anticipate needs at a high level and organize and plan accordingly 
    • This position requires an understanding of how to develop and implement transformation/change technology and practices
