    ARCO's in-house design firm, ADB Design Services, has an exciting, long-term career opportunity for a Project Architect. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and 3-5 years’ experience in all phases of the design and build process with a passion and drive for architecture and great work.

    Responsibilities

    • Foster and maintain collaborative professional working relationships with Project Managers to execute a wide range of project types including: cold storage, distribution, interiors, manufacturing, office/commercial and more. 
    • Review and coordinate construction documents content with construction project manager, consultants as it relates to projects.
    • Prepare presentation drawings as required.
    • Develop novel approaches and solutions to architectural problems in consultation with project team. 
    • Conducts quality control checks, review calculations, designs, specifications and construction documents for accuracy and completeness.

    Qualifications

    • Passion and drive for architecture and great work.
    • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field required.
    • 3-5 years’ experience working in an Architectural practice with experience in all phases and aspects of a project (schematics, design development, construction documents, etc). 
    • Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software; Revit experience required.
    • AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other rendering program experience considered a plus.
    • NCARB registration preferred with path to licensing a plus.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Collaborative and professional work ethic.
    • Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations.
