    The ideal candidate will have 3-10 years of related payroll experience. In-house payroll experience considered a plus. This individual will be responsible for data entry of weekly payroll for approximately 100 associates.


    • Process weekly & bi-weekly payroll for union and non-union employees
    • Order, distribute and maintain pay cards for associate
    • Balance weekly/bi-weekly reports associated with the processing of payroll
    • Monitor PTO (paid time off)
    • Handle W2 process
    • Research and resolve any tax notices
    • Track guaranteed bonus payouts
    • Process bonus and shareholder distribution checks
    • Enter and ensure accuracy of all withholding orders, garnishments and tax levy’s
    • Set up new withholding states
    • Process labor related job cost transfers
    • Process verifications of employment
    • Conduct detailed audits, including biweekly audits of payroll payments, quarterly tax audits and year-end processing audits
    • Work with employees to answer all payroll-related questions
    • Assist Payroll Manager with various projects
    • Maintain payroll files
    • Train new associates on time management system
    • Maintain any associate address changes to ensure they are being taxed properly


    • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
    • 3-10 years of related experience, prior in-house payroll experience considered a plus.
    • Knowledge of state reciprocity, W2’s, and withholding taxes required.
    • Previous experience with multi-state payroll taxes preferred.
    • Must be customer service oriented.
    • Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Precise with data entry.
    • Have a team player attitude.
    • Ability to prioritize workload to meet processing deadlines.
    • Able to work in fast paced environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
    • Possess strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Prior union payroll experience considered a plus.
    • Familiarity with UltiPro software considered a plus.
