    ARCO is currently seeking a creative and entrepreneurial Senior Interior Designer to join our team in a first of its kind opportunity! This role works independently and will interface with our with Principals and Project Managers on a day-to-day basis, but the Interior Designer will also have regular opportunities to meet and work with external clients to help guarantee that the ARCO team understands and can execute their vision for a given project. An ideal candidate will possess corporate interior design experience as well as the ability to represent the organization independently in meetings with current and/or potential clients.

    • Space planning to enhance the function, safety, and aesthetics of interior spaces
    • Create material palettes, including flooring, carpet, and paint to be approved by client
    • Maintain an updated material library and meet with product manufacturer’s representatives
    • Prepare presentation drawings as required
    • Attend client meetings, coordinate with construction project managers, and other design disciplines
    • Estimate material requirements and costs and present design to client for approval
    • Advise client on interior design factors such as space planning, layout, utilization of furnishings or equipment, and color and material coordination
    • Consider materials and costs according to set budgets and negotiated project fees
    • Prepare working drawings, designs, plans, models, and schemes that communicate design intent which will be coordinated with other design disciplines


    • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
    • Passed the NCIDQ exam and holds a license
    • 7-10 years’ experience
    • Autocad and Revit experience required
    • Ability to develop presentation drawings required - 3D modeling / rendering preferred
    • Skilled in designing interior alterations, renovations, and new layouts
    • Ability to develop preliminary designs into working documents
    • Technical architectural and interior design knowledge required
    • Knowledge of innovative materials used for interior design
    • Excellent leadership skills
    • Ability to work under pressure
