    The Software Specialist will be dedicated to software support and assist with training for all operational software programs in use throughout our organization.  The ideal person will be motivated by problem-solving, have a passion for customer service, and enjoy and be proficient at leading trainings and creating training documentation.     • Learn and become highly proficient with all current operational technology and software at ARCO/Murray (i.e. Project Management software, intranet systems, file sharing/management software, etc.)
    • Work closely with ARCO Technology Development to learn/prepare for new software initiatives as they reach the rollout/implementation phase
    • Establish operating procedures and standards for the use of each technology 
    • Assist with creating training guides and quick starts for ARCO Associates and external partners, non-technical audiences
    • Assist with technology orientations of new hires
    • Lead software trainings (classroom, 1 on 1, webinar, recorded) for ARCO Associates
    • Provide world-class customer service
    • Deliver regular updates to employees on support issue resolutions
    • Other duties or qualifications may be required/assigned as needed


    • 2 -10 years of relevant software troubleshooting and training experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Knowledge of business operations; prior experience in the construction industry preferred
    • Prior Construction Project Management software experience considered a plus
    • Self-motivated individual who can find innovative ways to solve recurring problems
    • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, reasoning and research abilities
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service
    • Ability to learn new skills quickly
    • Deep interest in technology and how it impacts the business
    • Local travel between the Downers Grove and Downtown Chicago offices
    • Some travel to ARCO/Murray’s other offices (Dallas, Nashville, Denver, San Mateo)
