This individual will support Human Resources Department by administering all benefit and insurance enrollments and terminations, process all onboarding and exit documents, and other projects/tasks as assigned. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in benefit administration by enrolling all new associates in company’s plan, manage ongoing changes for associates.
  • Manage retirement plan enrollment for new associates by sending out required information packets, processing requests.
  • Assist Benefits Coordinator in organizing annual meetings as requested.
  • Allocate health insurance bills monthly.
  • Distribute wellness articles or other applicable letters to outside office administrators.
  • Prepare and send new hire paperwork to appropriate offices.
  • Update and distribute various tracking systems including staffing lists and applicant logs.
  • Manage I-9 compliance; e-verify new hire and state compliance.
  • Enter new hires into payroll system.
  • Create and maintain all personnel files.
  • Track employee hours for various benefit eligibility.
  • Facilitate exit paperwork.
  • Process various benefits requests including scholarship requests, tuition reimbursement, charitable contribution matching, and sabbatical program reimbursement.
  • Assist in organizing health fairs.
  • Send overnights to remote offices as needed.
  • Assist HR Benefits team with other various administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of related experience & Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in administrative functions, HR administration preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be extremely organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet processing deadlines.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
