ARCO/Murray National Process Solutions is a progressive, growing, design/build general contractor with a focus in building niche processing facilities such as food processing, plastics, flavors, commercial laundries and other similar projects.  ARCO/Murray National Process Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an innovative sales oriented professional in Business Development to lead Process sales in our Chicago office (Downers Grove, IL).

 

ARCO’s Chicago office is the largest of 11 offices in the ARCO family of companies. Responsibilities

  • Build and manage expanding network of "influencers" and have current, existing clients or industry specific contacts.
  • Identify key existing and potential external relationships and develop them in a manner which generates new business opportunities.
  • Plan and coordinate all business development activities respective to industry focus.
  • Fortify position of ARCO and build positive top of mind awareness.
  • Work with Regional Manager to facilitate coordination between Business Development, Office, and Field Staff.
  • Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities, performance against the sales plan, and other key indicators to the ARCO Management Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Significant sales, consulting, engineering or equipment vendor/contractor experience (prefer 5-10 years experience) in the facility planning, flavours, food processing or similar industry with a successful track record in leading the growth of a profitable client base.
  • Broad and in-depth business background with a reasonable working knowledge of the technical aspects of the facility planning, flavours, food processing or similar industry with a passion for construction.
  • Proven ability to establish profitable relationships at the higher levels (i.e. decision makers) of companies and organizations.
  • Outstanding presentation and relationship building skills.
  • Candidate shall be requested to take sales and qualification testing.
